An African American woman convert is dunked in water of a river or creek by an African American preacher and three other church helpers during a Christian religious baptism ceremony. African American men and women sing gospel spiritual music and praise at bank of the river as several people in their community are baptized. One woman is moved in a way that she appears to be overcome with emotion and almost convulse following her baptism.
