U.S. 1st Marine Regiment uses captured Japanese aerial bombs to destroy Japanese caves near Deragawa. Two Marines work on a bomb. A Marine removes nose cap from the bomb. He packs filler in the nose of the bomb and tamps it. Primer cord and fuse inserted in the nose of the bomb. Then he lights the fuse. (World War II period).
U.S. 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment brings in a Japanese prisoner from a cave just blasted in Shima. Two Marines bring a Japanese prisoner through a jungle path. The prisoner walks up hill under guard. (World War II period).
