Snow avalanches trap motorists at Stevens Pass in Washington. Food is provided to the trapped motorists. Buses, cars, trucks are trapped in snow that roared down steep mountain passes. All vehicles are checked for occupancy. Rescue operation carried out as bulldozers break the compact snow which is removed by highway snowplows.
