First scene is a brief glimpse of General John J. Pershing, Commander of the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) decorating several British military officers. The next sequence shows General Pershing conversing with Winston Churchill, at a social gathering in a park, on a pleasant sunny day, in London. The event is attended primarily by British military officers in uniform and their families, including spouses and children. Churchill and another man, both in top hats, are the only civilian officials noticeable at the gathering. There appear to be spectators standing in the background, and a London Bobbie is also seen.
