Film begins showing a sign for the 85th Evacuation Hospital, with its motto, "Miracularum Laborantes" that the hospital staff translated as "Miracle Workers." Next a jeep is seen driving out of the hospital compound. It has the name "Fearless Fly" stenciled beneath its windshield. In the background hospital enlisted quarters can be seen. The jeep stops leaving the compound before joining traffic headed North on Highway !, where it passes a building on the left reportedly converted into basketball and volleyball courts. Considerable traffic is seen in both directions on the road, including trucks carrying various army cargo and personnel. A Vietnamese couple is seen riding together on a motorbike. An army flat bed truck drives next to an area with many buildings and a red and white checkered water tank.
