Allied aircraft bomb and strafe German positions, while German antiaircraft batteries fire at them. German gunners successfully down an Allied airplane, which crashes near their position. Two young German soldiers hop over their defensive position and run to investigate the downed airplane. Later, the gun crew paint a white stripe on their gun barrel to indicate a successful downing.
