They discuss measures to ease tensions between the parties. The U.S. group agrees to seek a renunciation of the use of force in the settlement of Formosa (Taiwan), and the repatriation of civilian prisoners. Ambassador Wang announces the release of 11 American fliers. After the meeting, a Chinese interpreter reads out Wang's message to the press in English.

U.S. Marines firing rocket artillery near Mt. Fuji. Rocket artillery creates loud and bright explosions.
Russian farmers visit farms in South Dakota to know about the high speed wheat harvesting system. They also visit the Corn Palace in Mitchell where they examine the art and structures made from corn, and they look at trinkets and other local wares in a gift shop.
United Nations organizes a children's art exhibition as a part of summer festival at Chrysler Building in New York in United States. The 500 paintings being displayed are from 99 countries. United Nations under Secretary, Dr. Elf Punch and Barbara Wilkins inaugurates the art exhibition. Children look at the paintings.
Mechanic Leland Bryan with an aerobile flying car constructed by him in Milford, Michigan. The car can be converted into an airplane. He drives the pusher-prop plane at a speed of 50 miles per hour and after reaching the airport, he unfastens and attaches its wings and the car is converted into a plane. The plane with a 40 horse powered motor takes off and lands back after a short flight.
International Athletic Meet between Hungry and Finland in Helsinki, Finland. Hungary's Iharos Sandor sets a new record of 3 minutes and 40.8 seconds in the 1500 meter run. Views of the stadium filled with spectators. The two Hungarians and two Finns running the 1500 meter event on the track. The victorious Hungarian, Sandor, being greeted at end of the event.
