Major General U.S. Marine Corps Smedley Darlington Butler bares 'Business Plot' at Newtown Square in Pennsylvania. He reveals that he had appeared before a congressional committee to reveal what he knew about those who had asked him to head an army of 500,000 men in a 'Fascist' March as part of an attempt to takeover the functions of government and setup a fascist dictatorship in the United States. (This was also sometimes called the failed Wall Street Putsch or The White House Putsch, a coup to overthrow President Franklin Roosevelt.)
Ex-Servicemen Strike to announce the condemnation of war in Paris, France. Thousands of Ex-Servicemen from World War I march in a stirring of parade with banners. They hold hands as they march with an anti-war, pacifist theme. Several people in the center on tricycles. Also disabled veterans in wheel chairs. Banners state 'Les Croix de Bois'. Ambient sound from the rally is heard.

Thousands of soldiers also watch the review, some from spectator stands and some seated on the ground. View of 7th Machine Gun Battalion (printed on side of truck, passing in review). Seen are: Dirigible overhead; Two military bands; troops marching with shouldered arms with fixed bayonets; General Thompson accompanied by a civilian official, and many others in the reviewing stand; mules carrying supplies; trucks carrying machine guns; trucks pulling heavy artillery; numerous utility vehicles; a small black dog walking beside the troops; Color Guard; Red and white bunting draped on reviewing stand; Mules carrying parts of artillery pieces (one mule acts up and causes difficulty for its handler); Honor guard on horseback carrying the American Flag; Horses and mules carrying parts of artillery pieces; Heavy artillery; All spectators rise and salute the colors; Mount Ranier in the background; Loud speakers with four horns set on ground between bands and marchers.
