Prisoners of war in German camps receive supplies and a prisoner reports good treatment

World War II German propaganda clip shows prisoners of war in a German prison camp in German-occupied Poland receiving food and supplies. View from upper story window shows long lines of captive soldiers on the street below who stand waiting to receive provisions. The captives appear to be from the Polish and British militaries. German soldiers hand out the supplies, and the POW troops thank the German men as they receive goods. A well-groomed officer of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) stands in front of a microphone and addresses the camera, reporting that he and his fellow soldiers have received good treatment at the camps. He says that they have "good quarters, adequate food, and no complaints." The airman smiles as he turns to step away from the microphone.

German naval forces bomb fortified port near Gdynia

After German forces captured the Polish city of Gdynia during World War II, fighting continues in the nearby fortified ports of Oksywie and Hel. The choppy waters of the Bay of Gdansk (Danzig) are shown off the side of a ship, followed by a large group of German sailors onboard moving around on deck. Smoke trails off the back of the ship, likely from a recently-fired gun. A ship is shown far away on the water flashing its light in the hazy conditions. On land, a group of German soldiers fire a World War I era 77mm Model M1896 cannon. Back on the water, a soldier and the camera look through a sighting periscope towards land. Smoke rises from the hillside in the distance across the harbor, and the sound of heavy artillery can be heard. From behind a wall, German soldiers fire a machine gun back out towards the port. Densely-populated hillside with thick smoke rising. More artillery is fired. A soldier fires from the shadows of a large structure. A ship, either the German Deutschland-class SMS Schleswig-Holstein or her sister ship the SMS Schlesien, is seen firing at the fortifications. One of the shots hits high on the hill in a densely populated area. A soldier with binoculars around his neck looks through the sighting periscope. Huge plumes of smoke rise from massive fires visible on the fort walls.

Canadian soldiers with full packs and equipment board a transport ship that is set to sail from Adak island to Kiska island in the Aleutian islands during World War 2. An officer checks each soldier as they pass across the gangway. Closeup of two patches on the officer's shoulder, one with a knife on it and the other with the word "Canada." Excellent closeup shots of faces of Canadian soldiers on the transport ship. Emblem "RCASC" (Royal Canadian Army Service Corps) seen clearly on the shoulder of multiple soldiers. Camera pans across the troops and sometimes shows closer shots of just one soldiers face. Most soldiers are smiling, all seem to be in good spirits.
