Shows U.S. 102nd infantry cooks preparing meals for troops at a field kitchen during World War I at Vailly in France. Food is prepared in a large cooker. The cooks put the food in containers and load it on horse carriages. The food is delivered to 102nd Infantry troops in trenches.

The U.S. 372nd Infantry Glee club, comprised of African American soldiers, performs in New York City during a Celebration of Paul Robeson’s 46th birthday and on the anniversary of the Council on African Affairs. The 372nd Infantry Glee club sings the Invictus, a British poem, during the event at the 17th Regiment Armory at 34th Street and Park Avenue in Manhattan. Candles lit up in front of stage. After they sing, banner above stage is visible that says '17th Regiment'. Audience seated. (World War II period).
U.S. Army 7th Cavalry Regiment and 82nd Field Artillery (Horse) Battalion on maneuvers in Marfa, Texas. 82nd Field Artillery sets up battery of French 75 field artillery pieces to fire at "enemy" positions. Gunners adjust artillery aim towards the target. French 75s fire on targets, one after the other. Gunners reload them and fire again. Artillery and cavalry in "retreat," take new positions. Cavalry troops ride fast towards new position on a dusty "battlefield."
