A Ford-Stout 2-AT passenger and mail transport aircraft ,one of several having the name, "Maiden Dearborn" , which is written on its tail along with: "Ford Airport of Michigan." The Ford logo is painted on its fuselage, as is "U.S. Mail." The field is snow covered. Aircraft taxis out with"assistance" from well-meaning spectators who push on the empennage as the plane moves. The airplane taxis to end of field and takes off.
V-2 rocket fired at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. The damaged nose section spreads on the ground. The demolished tail section parts scattered all over. Person examines the remains. Mountain ridges in the background. (World War II period).
The launch of A-4 guided missile at Peenemunde, Germany. After development and testing the A-4 (V-2) missile is declared operational. A painter paints the missile. A-4 being lowered down onto floor by a large crane. A-4 lowered on a ramp. It is lowered onto a special trailer to haul the missile to the launching site. Large tractor hauls the missile out of a building. A-4 on a special type of trailer is transported to the firing range. It is erected into firing position. Final firing preparations. Workmen stand on a ladder and work on the missile. Oxygen is fueled into the A-4 missile. (World War II period).
The second launch of A-4 (V-2) guided missile in Peenemunde, Germany. A-4 missile is launched. Smoke covers the surrounding area. The A-4 missile zooms out of sight. Only a lingering smoke trail remains drifiting in the breeze. (A slate tells us the missile broke down from excessive pressure at speed of 650 meters per second.)

The Blue Division soldiers were volunteers serving in the Eastern Front for the German Army. Officers salute the soldiers passing in trucks. The soldiers carry Spanish flags. Mass crowd of civilians along the streets of downtown Madrid cheer and wave, greeting and celebrating the soldiers. A woman cries. Buildings in downtown Madrid Spain. People look from the buildings. A building with a statue of a horse carriage on top of it. Blue Division soldiers, many raising hand in Nazi salute look to officer leadership saluting form a balcony above the streets.
