Scene of fireworks in the sky at the end (alluding to collapse of the stock market and the "Crash" on Wall Street that precipitated the Great Depression).

A legless beggar with a sign around his neck that reads 'Help the Blind', hobbles along a crowded city sidewalk. A legless child hobbles beside him. People walk past the blind beggar and drop coins into his hat. A man drops a coin that misses the hat, and the beggar reaches for it. A policeman collars him as he picks it up. A cowboy lassos a steer in the United States. Several cowboys ride up and surround the steer. When the steer starts to walk away, a cowboy holds fast to the lasso which pulls the steer's hind feet off the ground so it falls down. The cowboy dismounts and walks toward the steer.
