American Musical Comedy Star Harry Richman and aviation pioneer Henry Tyndall Dick Merrill (Chief Pilot of Eastern Airlines) on a projected two day round trip fight to London from Floyd Bennett Field in New York. The pair prepare for a flight to dine in London and return to New York for Breakfast. Their Vultee V1-A aircraft [NC16099] being parked outside hangar at Floyd Bennett Field. People gather around the aircraft. Eastern Airlines President, Captain Edward "Eddie" Rickenbacker (U.S.World War One, Ace of Aces) shakes hands and gives best wishes to Richman and Merrill for the flight.
