Scene shifts to twin guns being raised and lowered in tandem from turrets on the ship's deck. Crew members obtaining shells from ship's armory and loading them into the twin guns. The left gun fires. A sailor seen in the cab of a derrick at the controls. Sailors guide a large auxiliary generator down the ramp of the LST. The sailor-operated derrick lowers a cable with hook that sailors fasten to the generator and the derrick begins to lift it.
