New York City Mayor, Fiorello LaGuardia, and other officials, salute with hats over hearts, as American Flags pass. Sign on pole near them reads: "Cruising Taxis prohibited." Boy Scouts, carrying dozens of American and troop flags, parade, followed by men in Native American Indian costumes and then by various fraternal groups in the line of march.
