King Saud is escorted by U.S. officials. King Saud places a wreath bearing the emblem of Saudi Arabia is placed on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A soldier assists the Arabian king in placing the wreath. American military buglers sound taps. Welcome preparations for King Faisal ibn Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia in Washington DC. A man puts up flags of Saudi Arabia and the United States. The military band plays. The soldiers salute. President Johnson speaks into a microphone and greets King Faisal with traditional greeting in Arabic. He then talks about U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia. People applaud after the welcome speech. King Faisal replies and expresses gratitude. Scenes of a welcoming parade in the streets of Washington, DC. A sign reads 'His Majesty King Faisal'. U.S. soldiers march and a band plays. People line sidewalks to see and to welcome the King. Military units parade. The King rides in a limousine with two Secret Service Agents standing on the rear of the car. He arrives at Blair House, directly across from the Old Executive Office Building and adjoining White House. . He is greeted an official from the City who presents him the "keys to the City."
