A Pershing tank crosses a bridge back into South Korea, where a sign reads:"You are now crossing the 38th parallel, Co.B 728 MP." Scene shifts again, to President Lyndon B. Johnson delivers speech about Vietnam at a news conference on July 28, 1965, in which he states,among other things, "Three times in my lifetime...Americans have gone to far lands to fight for freedom..." as he explains U.S. involvement in Vietnam and the Vietnam War.

A U.S. Army truck full of troops and a jeep follow the personnel carrier. Next dragon's teeth tank traps are seen in the snow. A U.S. M10 tank destroyer and a truck are parked near the dragon's teeth. A gunner atop the M10 fires his M2 Browning heavy machine gun. The M10 continues to move past the dragon's teeth. Infantry are seen accompanied by a whitewashed M4A3(76) Sherman tank. Other troops are settled into positions in the snow beside the narrow road. View from behind advancing troops. (Likely, this is a mock attack staged for propaganda movie, with a captured Spitfire, displaying early paint scheme of black/white belly.) The film continues with a Messerschmitt Bf 109 engaging the Spitfire in a dog fight, that ends with the latter falling in a trail of smoke. (Interestingly, the last view of falling Spitfire shows empennage of the camera plane, which appears to be a rare Arado Ar.240.) Next, a spitfire is seen sitting upright on the ground, with black smoke billowing from its center. Finally, Dornier Do-17 aircraft are seen dropping bombs amid some flak clouds. (Note: disparate scenes have been melded together and edited in the making of this film.)

They are inspected by an Italian General and others, including a German officer, as they stand in formation on a train platform. Afterwards, some are presented flowers by loved ones. The platform is filled with well-wishers who wave as their train leaves the station. A contingent of Italian troops stands at attention as they prepare to depart to the Eastern front. they receive flowers as they board train and depart. The train station platform is filled with those waving goodbye.
