Maryland State Police motorcycle patrolmen at their post, with sign "Maryland State Police - Substation A". A police patrolman notices a moving violation by a motorist and gets on his motorcycle to pursue. The police officer pulls over the motorist and is seen writing a ticket for the woman driver in the car. A police officer on foot stands at a busy intersection and gives hand commands to control traffic at a bend on highway. Winter time views show a a big snow plow as it removes snow from highways during winters. Many 1920's and 1930's automobiles, including cars, trucks, and buses are seen on American roads and highways. A car passes on a bridge. Cars drive on a four lane. Next scene shows the Statue of Liberty as seen up close from an approaching boat. Final scene shows Bandmaster and United States Marine Corps band as they play. The conductor turns and takes a bow.

At TC:00:37-00:57, the heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis (CA-35) is seen. Glimpses of the camera ship show a triple gun turret astern and a Curtis SOC Seagull biwing floatplane carried aboard. (This is likely a Portland class heavy cruiser.) The USS Pennsylvania (BB-38) appears astern at TC:01:08. At TC:01:53, a closeup of the Battleship USS Maryland (BB-46) is seen briefly behind the camera ship. Suddenly, a Fletcher class destroyer cuts across the stern of the camera ship. U.S. Navy Curtiss SOC Seagull and Vought OS2U kingfisher seaplanes on maneuvers with capital warships before World War II
During U.S. Navy maneuvers just prior to U.S. entry into World War 2, Curtiss SOC Seagull scout observation biplane aircraft are seen being catapulted from USS Boise (CL-47). The crew of USS Boise, in dress whites, watches from her stern as one of her Seagull planes lands in the "slick" behind the ship. Bow view of USS Tennessee (BB-43) followed by USS Portland (CA-33), both wearing MS-1 Camouflage, plowing though the sea. Vought OS2U kingfisher seaplanes are seen on USS Maryland (BB-46). A pilot signals "OK" and his Kingfisher plane is catapulted from USS Maryland. An officer and sailor signal with flags, as another Kingfisher is catapulted. A Kingfisher flies over several ships and then lands in the "slick" behind its battleship. The plane taxis along starboard side of the ship and then is hoisted aboard.
