Brothers John and Kenneth Hunter fly over the Sky Harbor airport,Northbrook, Illinois, in their Stinson SM-1 airplane,"The City of Chicago," preparing to land after a record-setting endurance flight lasting from June 11 through July 4, 1930. They are forced to discontinue their flight due to oil filter and leak problems. Huge crowds are gathered around the Sky Harbor Club House as they fly overhead. The crowds rush across the grassy field and past other airplanes at the airport, as the Hunters plane touches down.But the brothers continue taxiing until they reach a hangar.
