"Operation Firestop" at Camp Pendleton, California. A helicopter lands and personnel board the helicopter. Helicopter in flight. Accordian-folded cotton hose uncoiled from a tray below a helicopter, as firefighter holds the hose. Field testing by spraying fire retardants on a grass field at Camp Pendleton, and then observing their efficacy when the field is set afire. Large group of firefighters on hill, participating in "Operation Firestop," watch a helicopter flying below them during tests. A truck laden with bags of chemicals, makes its way up a hill through brush.
