He inspects the forward electronic compartment, fluid tank, filler cap and access door. He checks the landing gear including tires, nose steering unit, taxi light and nose gear door. Inspection of the battery, ground safety pins, circuit breaker panel, armament door, turbine blades, hydraulic reservoirs and gauges. Inspection of the wing surfaces, wing tips and position light. The tail inspection includes the skin, navigation light, vertical stabilizer and rudder, speed brake area, tail pipe nozzle and drag chute area. The crew chief climbs onto the plane and inspects the upper surface, dorsal fin, fuselage panels, fuel intake covers and the fuse. He then climbs back down.

The first several scenes show a drive-by view of some Waikiki hotels and condominiums along either side of Ala Moana Blvd. We also see a glimpse of the Waikikian Hotel with its well known tiki designed exterior. We continue down Ala Moana Blvd. showing the front property of the Hilton Hawaiian Village and a glimpse of the white geodesic dome, built as an auditorium, by Henry Kaiser, in 1957. ( It was demolished in 1999 to make room for the Kalia Tower.) The car then turns down Kalia Dr. and the last scenes are of a palm tree lined road that leads to the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel built in 1971.
