Grant, in Riverside Park was completed in 1897. In the background, to the North, can be seen the Claremont Inn and Hendrik Hudson apartments. But a cluster of tall apartment buildings dominates the bluff above the river. As the camera pans south around the tip of Manhattan, some sight-seeing boats are shown, docked at the waterfront.
