British conservative Member of Parliament (MP) Mavis C.Tate,and another MP, sitting in an American jeep with top up, speak with a British officer. They and several other jeeps, carrying visiting British MPs proceed into the liberated Buchenwald Concentration camp. An effigy of a prisoner is seen illustrating form of punishment meted out to inmates. The visiting party includes: Mrs. Tate; Sir Graham White; Sir Henry James; Lord Stanhope; Lord Addison; Sir Archibald Southby; Lieutenant Colonel Wickham; Ness Edward; M. Silverman; and Tom Driberg. Accompanied by U.S. and British officers, they walk about among the camp buildings, where cleanup is underway. A large mass of camp debris is being burned. Freed inmates are seen throughout the camp. Some of them speak with the MPs and explain things to them. Mrs. Tate converses with former prisoners who show their tatooed identification numbers. (World War II period).

General Wingate, flanked by Colonel Cochran and another officer, gives a detailed briefing to Officers, about plans for Burma operations. Later, Colonel Cochran conducts an additional briefing for enlisted personnel of the 1st Air Commando Group. General Wingate inspects Chindits units. Wingate looks over map spread on hood of a jeep and discusses it with British staff.
Arrival of British Commissioners to the War Council in Washington DC. Union Station decorated with Allies colors in honor of their arrival. United States Secretary of States Robert Lansing welcomes British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour and other British Commissioners. The party accompanied by military escort proceeds to Breckenridge Long's home which will be occupied by Arthur Balfour. British Commissioners leave the State Department building to meet U.S. President Woodrow Wilson.
