Dirksen and Young conduct a tour of the prison camp accompanied by U.S. Army officers. The visitors interview a released camp prisoner and visit German V-weapon ( V1s and V2s) manufacturing factories (Mittelwerk factory at Kohnstein).

A flight of U.S. B-26 bombers passes overhead as trains loaded with U.S. troops cross the newly constructed bridge.
