Amateur clowns participate in a circus 'Biggest Big Show' competition to win a one week stint with the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus at Madison Square garden in New York. A woman and the men and boys of a family dressed as clowns participate in an open audition for clown formation. The judges at work. People wait for the result. Rookie Boston Red Sox pitcher Billy Rohr comes within one out of throwing a no-hitter against the New York Yankees in baseball game at Yankee Stadium, April 1967. Rohr faces the last batter as scoreboard (in background) shows the Red Sox' 3-0 lead and zero hits for Yankees. Yankee catcher Elston Howard lines a single into right field, breaking up the no-hitter. Rohr gets final out and crowd cheers and teammates congratulate him. Final shot is Rohr standing at top step of dugout, chewing gum, contemplating how close he came to the rare baseball feat.
