Amon Carter presented Charlie McCarthy with a Shady Oaks hat, his custom with all notable persons who visited Fort Worth. A crowd of spectators stands near them and watches during the radio interview. Scene moves indoors to a Texas Rangers ceremony in Dallas, with McCarthy and Bergen entertaining as Texas Rangers stand behind them and watch.
