U.S. Fire Support Base (FSB) Normandy is seen. A CH-54 brings a Howitzer and sets it down on top of a hill of the base. It then flies off. A CH-47 brings a ¾ ton truck to the base. An exploded signal bomb releases yellow smoke. Another CH-47 brings ammunition boxes and a 105mm howitzer in a sling. The helicopters are operated by the U.S. Army 160th Combat Aviation Group, supporting the 101st Airborne Division. (Vietnam War period).

Views from a helicopter,approaching and circling U.S. 101st Airborne Division Fire Support Base (FSB) Normandy, on top of a mountain in Vietnam, during the war. The base has been cleared of vegetation, but has few notable structures or equipment readily discernible from the altitude at which it is being viewed. A different sequence shows FSB Geronimo, from a helicopter. This 101st Airborne base is on a Hill top, and is larger and more developed than FSB Normandy. It has well defined perimeter and interior roads, and numerous structures and facilities. A fairly large river can be seen in the distant background in some views.
