One sign on the building reads,"Goodale, Hobson, & MacHahon.This refers to William Goodale, Alfred Allen Hobson, and Patrick Maurice MacMahon, Solicitors, 9, Essex Street, Strand London, England. (Note: that firm dissolved in 1907.)
