Italian President Giuseppe Saragat welcomes and escorts President Nixon for a press address at the runway. Two Italian Cuirassiers Regiment (Reggimento corazzieri) flank President Nixon as he delivers a speech. A large crowd gathered at the terminal building cheers for him.
