White Russian emigres gathered at an Anglo Russian sports club in London, United Kingdom. A group of men and women relax and converse at the sports club. A waiter serves vodka to the the group. They sing a Russian song, accompanied by one of them who plays a guitar. Then one of them calls for a special (larger) drink, which the waiter brings on a tray. The man receiving the drink holds it while they begin to sing a particular song, to a woman in the group. She rises as the man with the drink bows low before her. She takes the drink and downs in one continuous swallow, as her companions urge her on, singing with increased tempo and shout when she finishes. She hands the empty glass back to the man, who kisses her hand. Scene shifts to the group deciding what to do next for the camera. Some drink more.
