The decorated Liberty ship SS John P. Harris (2877) at Savannah, Georgia. Mrs Eleanor Harris christens the Liberty ship in honor of her deceased husband, John P. Harris, who had been Senator from Pennsylvania and a pioneer movie exhibitor. The ship served the U.S. Army Transportation Service (USAT).
