The Ethiopian warriors are preparing for the battle of Maichew. Large number of locals gathers to witness the procession. Police controls the crowd.

They dig out mud and are engaged in construction work. Officials at a railroad station. They board a train and the train leaves the area.
Tribesman hold flags of the Kingdom of Italy, and branches gathered in a field, for a festival ceremony in Italian-occupied Ethiopia. Native Ethiopian tribal leaders in white robes take shelter under umbrellas. Tribal Chiefs, military officers and other dignitaries on the stage. The principal military official greets the crowd. A tepee-like bonfire appears to be made ready in the center of the field. The tribesmen begin the ceremony by charging and throwing the branches into a pile. Buildings in background are decorated with flags of the Kingdom of Italy.
