Several PB-2As are also flying low, when one of them suddenly dives towards the ground and crashes in front of the spectators. The pilot, Major Alfred J. Waller, is killed and the observer Sergeant John Johnston is injured. The Crashed aircraft aflame and smoke rising. Crash truck responds. People rush towards the plane.
