Queen Frederika of Greece and her daughter, Princess Irene are seen walking along a deck of the ship. (Narrator states they are here on a 17-day unofficial visit.) Cinematographer takes moving pictures. A little girl in Greek costume on a stairway, presents a bouquet of flowers to the Queen and kisses her on the cheek. Another photographer taking motion pictures. The Royal pair pose for some more photographs. Next, Queen Frederika wearing a crown tiara is seen at a reception celebrating Barnard College's 75th anniversary. She and her daughter pose for pictures with Barnard College's President, Dr. Rosemary Park, who wears her academic robes. Posing with them is Secretary of State Dean Rusk and his wife, Virginia Foisie Rusk.

Next, King Baudouin and Queen Fabiola of Belgium descend steps from a Sabena 707 airliner (on an 11-day State visit, on the first stop on their around-the-world tour, according to the narrator). The King is seen from behind, being greeted by Crown Prince, Crown Prince Akihito and Crown Princess Michiko. The Royal party walks across the ramp. An honor guard of Japanese soldiers renders a lowered flag salute. A Rolls Royce sedan is seen approaching the Japanese Royal Palace, followed by several other cars, all accompanied by a motor cycle escort.

She boards her balloon and tucks her goodluck mascot (a stuffed toy dog) into the gondola. she is seen rising in her balloon. Brief view of the ground and sightseers from a balloon about 50 feet in the air. Famed balloonist, Donald Louis Piccard, is seen igniting his heater and leaving the ground aboard his balloon. (Note: This was an ill fated venture. Only one balloonist successfully reached the mainland, California. The rest had to be rescued from the water. Mrs. Keith lost her life and her body was recovered days later.)

A sightseeing river boat plies waters of the Nile river approaching the Egyptian Temples of Ramses II, on its banks, in Nubia. Visitors are seen taking photographs in front of the four 65 foot statues of Ramses II in the facade of the Temple, while engineers are cutting them into pieces that will be reassembled 200 feet above the coming flood created by the new Aswan Dam in Egypt.
