Film 'Voice of the truth' dramatizes reactions of U.S. Army soldiers listening to Japanese propagandist Tokyo Rose report the news. The propaganda report makes an effort to convince troops that the people at home are not interested in soldiers. The United States troops smoke and relax while listening to music on radio below decks on troop transport ship. Soldier writes on a piece of paper. Another soldier checks rifle. A male announcer, possibly her husband, Felipe d' Aquino, reads propaganda news about Pacific battles and American casualties. Toguri was wrongly tried and sentenced for being 'Tokyo Rose' a supposed Radio Tokyo character that was never identified. (World War II period).
