U.S. Marine Corps F4U Corsair airplane is catapulted from flight deck of the USS Badoeng Strait (CVE-166) in waters off Korea. Another Corsair is catapulted. Its tail code: "WS" clearly visible, identifying it as belonging to Marine Fighter Squadron VMF-323 (Deathrattlers).
