After introductions, Vice-President Johnson speaks very briefly and then President Kennedy speaks at the podium, flanked by the other officials. The Presidential Seal is displayed on the podium. Men take pictures. Reporters take notes. People applaud after the speech. The President and the Vice President shake hands with people in the crowd.
