An officer receives a dispatch announcing the armistice and rushes to a camp. The troops gather to read about the armistice. Soldiers celebrate.. They jump and throw their caps in celebration. Soldiers read the armistice dispatch, one by one. The American troops greet local French farmers and pose with them. Back at their campsite, the troops relax. A small mascot dog is seen with them.
