Gerrnan Navy personnel look over a large number of marine mines piled up on the seashore in World War 2.. Several navy men walk into the surf where they retrieve a large mine floating ashore. A Navy explosives ordnance disposal technician removes parts from the mine. He and another Navy man examine them. Next, they deliberately detonate the mine creating a large blast, on the shore. A Navy Lieutenant is seen removing parts from another mine. Narrator states that he and his enlisted assistant have together destroyed 5,600 mines. His assistant wires up the mine for destruction. A new German army unit in uniform is assembled in a large hall, late in World War 2 (January 1945), comprised of Volkssturm ("people's army") conscripts (mostly youth and elderly). Rifles are stacked in the foreground. A German officer at a podium gives a speech. The soldiers raise their hands and pledge allegiance to their country and leader (Hitler). The hand of a soldier on the German flag. The rifles are distributed to the individual Volkssturm soldiers.
A dramatized training film created by OSS (Office of Strategic Services) for training of secret agents. A man in a hotel room moving to and fro. He is thinking, then he just sits down, reads something in a newspaper. He stands up and starts getting ready. A housekeeper comes inside the room. Man speaks to a lady. Man then goes out of hotel and walks on the alleyway, encounters a Nazi policeman on the way, speaks to him and then proceeds.
The German U-Boat, U-181, returning from an Indian Ocean cruise, receives a ceremonial welcome after setting a record for sinking ships. The number 105,812 tons is painted on its conning tower. Captain Luth and his crew stand on deck as the U-boat docks. They sport full grown beards. Captain Luth and his crew are decorated upon arrival.
Several German Tiger I heavy tanks move out of parked position. One tank operates in rough wooded terrain. It readily downs a large tree. Various views of the Tiger I as it is being demonstrated.
Crown Prince Wilhelm of Prussia and family members walk arm-in-arm across a lawn. Kaiser Wilhelm II and Crown Prince Wilhelm enter a royal carriage, as Empress Augusta Viktoria and Crown Princess Cecilie, stand nearby. Kaiser Wilhelm II and the Crown Prince review troops. Empress Augusta Viktoria and Crown Princess Cecilie enter a carriage together. Unidentified group of German officers and civilian gentlemen converse at a sidewalk cafe (one appears to be The Kaiser's son in law, Ernst August, the Duke of Brunswick). General Erich Ludendorff converses with an officer and a civilian while seated at an outdoor table. Unidentified Prussian officers and officials stand with several ladies outdoors in a courtyard. Spectators lean out of a window in overlooking building.
