U.S. Marine Corps F4U Corsair pilots of MAG-11 depart on a mission during World War II in the Pacific Theater.

A crew truck is pulled up in front of a parked F4U Corsair airplane (number 036) of the Marine Aircraft Group 11. ("MAG-11"is displayed on door of the crew truck.) A seat pack parachute sits on the truck fender. Plane captain straddles the cockpit of the airplane.
