A small contingent of Arab army soldiers, with shouldered arms, marches in formation, across the sand, toward the camera. An officer leads them on foot, and a Sheik rides alongside, astride a camel. Scene shifts to their camp, where uniformed soldiers mingle with other arabs in traditional dress. A color guard poses with the flag of the Arab Revolt. General activity is seen at the camp. Soldiers load camels with supplies, and head out of their mountainous campsite. They are followed by a large number of others, some walking and some on camels. Another scene shows wounded arriving by camel,at a camp, where they are placed on stretchers and attended by doctors and corpsmen.
An Algerian man astride a horse and surrounded by attendants, is greeted by a large group of arab men who bow to him and then sit on the ground in front of him. A simple mosque tower seen in background. Several musicians play instruments in one section of the gathering. Camera pans across the attendees, Next sequence shows a series of Algerian cavalry charges in which they fire rifles, in demonstrations for the gathering. Some of the spectators (including camera) are shaded under a tent.

Then, led by mounted officers, they march along a muddy path in the snow. Next they are seen moving in a very long single file column, through snow covered landscape. Large numbers of Turkish prisoners of war move past the camera in a town and march along a snowy path. Occasional armed Russian soldiers are seen by the prisoners. Russian troops place supplies in a sledge. They are seen transporting soldiers and supplies in bullock carts and sleds drawn by cattle. A woman wearing a hat with '1962 All Star Game' written on it. U.S. President John F. Kennedy, a known baseball fan, throws out the ceremonial first pitch. Game begins, scoreless for five innings. In the sixth, Hall of Famer Stan Musial hits a single to right field. Maury Wills comes in to run for him, steals second, then scores on a hit by the Pittsburgh Pirates' Dick Groat. President Kennedy and officials seated near him cheer. Groat scores on an infield hit. Racially mixed crowd watches the action. Billy Moran and Rich Rollins of the American League get hits, then Roger Maris of the Yankees hits a long blast to deep center field -- but Willie Mays catches it against the center field wall. Kennedy, wearing sunglasses and smiling, munches on some peanuts. In the seventh, Wills gets on base, advances from first to third on a single, and scores sliding into home on a fly ball in foul territory. Announcer notes Kennedy stayed until the end of the game. Mays catches the final out in center field. The National League wins the game 3-1.
