Slate alludes to transport and care of wounded following battle with Turkish forces at Scutari. Montenegrin wounded being carried on stretchers along mountainous roadway and up steep steps to an emergency field medical treatment center. Some medical staff in white, stand near the ramp. Later, several wounded are carried back down the steps to waiting trucks for transport to hospitals.

Flames and smoke rise from ships that have been hit, and much smoke from the smokestacks of ships. Charred remains of a burned ship still barely floating during the battle. Explosions as the ships fire torpedoes and guns. Following the battle, King George V aboard a British ship as British Navy sailors pass in review before the King. The sailors salute. A large number of British sailors stand together during the ceremony.
Italian torpedo boats underway during World War 1. Ships sink after being attacked by the torpedoes. Italian torpedo boats sink SMS Szent Istvan (Saint Stephen), a Austro-Hungarian Battleship off the Dalmation (Croation) coast in the Adriatic Sea. The sailors on the Szent Istvan cling to the decks as the ship lists and is very low in the water. Sailors aboard the ships. Men diving and falling into the sea as the ship rolls dramatically and then sinks. Survivors swimming toward nearby ships. Smoke rises up from the sinking ship.
