U.S. President Richard Nixon delivers his resignation speech from his office in the White House, Washington DC. President Nixon arrives, takes his seat and talks to the aides and camera persons casually since the broadcast has not begun. President and others discuss unofficially before starting the speech, including line "I'm afraid you'll catch me picking my nose." He gives a start to the speech so audio technicians can monitor sound levels. He calls to Ollie and says "Only the CBS crew will be in the room during the broadcast." He indicates that there will be no pictures taken after the broadcast. He instructs secret servicemen, members of coverage team and some others to leave the room. He asks someone to check his collar to make sure it is not ruffled up.
