A-5 missile transported to test site on Greifwalder Oie from Peenemunde Germany.

German A-5 missile (precursor to A-4 or V-2 rocket) being loaded onto a carrier with the help of a hook at a rocket factory in Peenemunde, Germany. Workers cover the missile with a cloth cover after loading it into the truck. A worker paints the missile in its test tracking colors and then it is put into a big container for transporting it to test site. A truck loaded with the container carries the missile to a port. At the port, a carrier loaded with the container is detached from the vehicle and loaded on to the ship. Ship leaves the port for Greifwalder Oie.
