Harry Bennett, a Ford Motor Company executive has fun with guests at his log cabin during the winter

Glimpse in Winter, of Lake Huron bordering property of Harry Bennett, Director of the Ford Motor Company Service Department. Camera pans quickly to show his log cabin house in the woods. Next, he and three friends are seen roughhousing in the snow. Bennett starts throwing snowballs, and his friends continue the snowball fight near their parked cars (1934 Fords). Two women approach the cars. Next, his friends pummel Bennett with snowballs as he heads toward his parked car. He jumps inside it quickly and drives away, as they throw snowballs at his car. Meanwhile, as one of the women is getting into the back of a car, one of the men throws a snowball at her. He then goes quickly to brush snow away from her. Behind them another man begins to drive his car away. The two women seated on the back seat laugh. Snow is seen on inside of the open door. Camera pans over snow and then back to the other car driving away. (It is a 1934 Ford Fordor Sedan Deluxe with the optional Potter Trunk and the spare tire.) On the one year anniversary of Adolf Hitler rising to power as Chancellor and Fuhrer in Germany, Americans assemble in Madison Square Garden, New York to denounce Adolf Hitler's ascendancy in Germany. People gathered in Madison Square Garden including New York Governor Al Smith, Ray Moley (seen speaking at podium), Rabbi Stephen S. 1934 West Coast waterfront strike; violence between strikers and police

Labor riots and strikes on streets in San Francisco, California. Strikers of Maritime Union on street. Strikebreakers and strikers start a riot in the street. Several men are hit by strike breakers, with clubs. and are beaten. A man sits with blood streaming down his face. A man sits near him. Men grab a man and push him along the street. Policemen fire tear gas into crowd. Mounted policemen push back the huge crowd. Soldiers with bayoneted rifles push back strikers. Man with cut on his head receives medical attention from another man. Police push back protestors. Strikers of the International Seamen's Union (I.S.U.) on picket line. Signs for Ship's masters, mates, and Pilots on strike, Men smash windows. Final scenes show unrelated labor strife, elsewhere, with United States soldiers standing guard near railroad tracks at entrance to a coal mine.

U.S. Army Air Corps airplanes and crews preparing for Alaskan Flight in 1934

Slate lists planned flight legs of U.S. Army Air Corps aircraft as: Washington DC to Edmonton, Alberta; Fairbanks Alaska to Seattle Washington; and Washington DC to San Diego California. Another slate explains that under command of Lieutenant Colonel H.H. Arnold,ten B-12 bombers demonstrate their capabilities in an 18,000 mile flight. Lt. Col Henry H. Arnold, U.S. Army Air Corps, stands in front of a large map on which planned flights are charted. Sign behind him identifies "Engineering Office," at Patterson Field. Arnold uses pointer to show the routings to another officer who has joined him. The next sequence shows Arnold describing the flight plans to more participants, using more charts.
