The barrel is then released in the river close to the Niagara Falls waterfall. Barrel moves in the water and enters the water fall. It drops down along the falls. After crossing the waterfall the barrel is taken out to the river bank. George Stathakis does not emerge. He has died, smothered in the barrel during the stunt. A man takes out the 150 year old turtle from the barrel and shows it to the crowd. It is unharmed.
