German civilians seen walking, from time to time, in Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin, during summer of 1945, after end of World War 2, in Europe. Behind them is the bombed out remains of the Französischer Dom (French Cathedral). The walls have collapsed in places and Statuary in niches have been severely damaged, including one seen headless. Camera pans up the side of the cathedral, to the base of the dome, and then to an iron fence with a makeshift sign (in beautiful script) reading "Französischer Dom." A man walks past the camera, wearing a back pack. Camera shows fallen brick and other rubble at steps, below the iron fence and sign. Glimpse of American military cameraman holding makeshift slate, with Camera equipment behind him.
U.S. soldiers are seen walking into a village already occupied by U.S. infantrymen, who are lined up carrying their individual mess gear as they move in an outdoor chow line. A little smoke can be seen from an outdoor mess stove (unseen). A sign identifies the town as: "Bitschhofen, Kreis Hagenau." The arriving U.S. troops continue, walking through, and out of the town, along a wet muddy road. Other soldiers, in the town, bring their food back from their mess kitchen. The troops passing through, slog in the mud.

Dr.Tiso, president of The Slovak Republic, detrains in Berlin and is greeted by German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, who escorts him to a waiting car and joins him in the back seat. .
Athletes running the marathon race during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin (Eleventh Olympiad). Spectators cheer. A man delivering race commentary. Kitel Son of Japan wins marathon race; Ernest Harper of England comes in second; Shoryu Nan of Japan, Third; Erkki Tamila of Finland, fourth; Vaino Muinonen of Finland, fifth; Johannes Coleman of South Africa, sixth.
U.S. soldiers raid houses in Munich in search of suspects during World War II. Line of tanks, jeeps, and half tracks along roads and streets of Munich on swoop raid. Army vehicles move through bombed out Munich. Infantrymen run along street of Munich. Soldiers raid house for suspected under grounders. Soldiers search a house. A man being arrested. Suspect enters a Command Post. Officer questions the suspect. Suspected homes being raided by soldiers, arrests are made and suspects being brought in for questioning. Suspects leave the Command Post afterwards.
