Home runs fly in baseball's 1964 World Series between St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees

The 1964 World Series moves to a filled Yankee Stadium in New York with the Yankees and Cardinals tied one game apiece. In the ninth inning, Yankee great Mickey Mantle comes to the plate as fans cheer, and blasts the first pitch into the right-field stands for a game-winning home run. Teammates congratulate him as he crosses home plate. In game 4, Yankees take early 3-0 lead until Cardinals third baseman Ken Boyer (seen in closeup) hits a home run with the bases loaded to put Cardinals on top 4-3, the final score. Game 5, still at the stadium, Cardinals lead 2-0 in ninth inning but outfielder Tom Tresh blasts homer to tie the game and send it into extra innings. Announcer notes this has been a superb World Series as Tresh seen rounding bases. Shot of scoreboard showing tie score.
