Scene shifts to twin guns being raised and lowered in tandem from turrets on the ship's deck. Crew members obtaining shells from ship's armory and loading them into the twin guns. The left gun fires. Glimpse of American sailors; derricks; and a landing ship tank ( LST) at the Port of Tunis in World War 2. Sign on building reads: "A.S.T.B. Tunis." A sailor seen in the cab of a derrick at the controls. Sailors guide a large auxiliary generator down the ramp of the LST. The sailor-operated derrick lowers a cable with hook that sailors fasten to the generator and the derrick begins to lift it.

They step from the cars and greet French officers. They walk to stand to review parade. Tanks drive through streets. Spahis,Royal Marines,United States soldiers,Free French soldiers and sailors march past in parade. Soldiers stand at a small memorial, where wreaths lay by a draped French tricolor flag containing symbols of various military units and dates. British and American soldiers place wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown. The British and American contingents salute, do about face, and march back from the memorial.. (World War II period).

Moroccan policemen frisk arrested supporters for the growing Moroccan independence movement. Policemen take away an arrested Moroccan man. Moroccan Berber tribesmen converge together. Honor guards participate during the ceremony placing Ben Aarafa on the Alouite Throne. Moroccans salute to the new sultan Mohammad Ben Aarafa. General Augustin Guillaume, the French resident-general of Morocco, presents the felicitations of his government to the new sultan in the Dar al-Makhzen palace in Rabat, Morocco.
