Army truck, filled with celebrating soldiers, drives down the street, with well-dressed civilian men running behind. French troops march carrying rifles, as onlookers crowd the sidewalks and street. Group of American soldiers singing, behind Allied officer who smokes cigarette, and has arm around shoulder of small boy (his son?) who holds folded umbrella. He kisses the boy on the cheek. Two Parisian gentlemen drink beer and smoke cigarettes, at outdoor table of cafe. Civilians crowd around two French African Colonial soldiers. One holds a pipe. The other picks up a wine bottle and they both drink directly from the bottle. Team of six horses pulls wagon filled with merrymaking soldiers. . Young Parisian women let soldiers in truck reach down to kiss them.

Group of parading Americans carry a young woman on their shoulders. Some women and children seen marching and dancing with the soldiers. A Parisian lamplighter begins descending his ladder, after lighting a streetlamp, but goes back up again to retrieve his wine bottle. Puffs of smoke waft over dense crowd, waving and shouting.
Paris Air Show. Spectators crowd the exhibit area to view aircraft on static display. U.S. Navy aircraft P-3C, A-7 D attack aircraft, transport aircraft C-5A, A-300 Airbus model are some of the planes in exhibition. Several men use binoculars for observation. People take photographs.

Paris Air Show. Four F-4E aircraft of the U.S. Air Force Aerial Demonstration Team (Thunderbirds) make a formation takeoff and performs precision aerobatics in formation. A single F-4E takes off and executes roll during climb. Spectators watch the aerobatics in the exhibition.

Several men enter the building. Cars and buses pass by. At train station, trainmen bend down and carefully inspect Steam Locomotive engine and driving wheels. Supervisors in suits and ties also look on during the inspection. A long train is seen traveling on tracks beside hills and woods.
